These six listings have dates on an organiser or official city page. They are not a complete cultural calendar and they will not update by themselves. Use the organiser’s current page before travelling, especially for tickets, registration, time slots, access and changes.

Florence: a focused art fair
The Florence International Antiques Biennale runs from 26 September to 4 October at Palazzo Corsini. The organiser publishes daily opening information, visitor rules and its own ticket route. If the fair is the main reason for the visit, leave the rest of Florence light enough to allow for an unhurried arrival and one other nearby plan.

Rome: choose the exact venue before the city journey
Rom-E is scheduled for 2–4 October at Casa del Cinema and Villa Borghese. It is a multi-location programme, so confirm the part you intend to attend before deciding how to arrive. Rome Art Week follows on 19–25 October across participating galleries and institutions; its organiser’s calendar is the place to choose a compact group of visits.

Bologna: a business trip by rail
E-Tech Europe is scheduled for 7–9 October at the Bologna Exhibition Centre. Check the organiser’s visitor and registration information before arranging a trip around the fair. A conference badge, a meeting appointment and a public-entry ticket are not interchangeable.

Venice: venues, water buses and closing days
The 2026 International Art Exhibition remains open until 22 November at the Giardini, Arsenale and Forte Marghera. From 29 September, its official visitor information lists autumn hours and Monday closing days. That makes the date of a Venice visit part of the itinerary, not a detail to check at the door.

Biennale Musica follows on 10–24 October, with performances at different Venice venues. Choose a specific performance first, then match a water-bus or walking route to the place and finish time. Plan around an event without making the trip fragile
- Open the official event page and confirm the specific date, venue and entry conditions.
- Put the venue on the route from your accommodation, not only in a map search.
- Check the transport operator’s service for that day, including a late return if relevant.
- Keep the arrival day light when a timed event cannot be moved.
- Check the public-holiday calendar if the event sits beside a long weekend.
